Recording The Sounds of Kodai

I set out with the H4N portable stereo sound recorder, mac and a backpack on November 3rd, 2019 from Pune. Wanting to record the sounds of Nature, Animals, Birds, People and places in Kodaikanal, Vattakanal.

I fly from Pune to Hyderabad at 11:45 and wait for my connecting flight from Hyderabad to Madurai. Delays and the long wait at the airport was not expected and I had miscalculated the duration it would take to reach from Madurai to Kodaikanal. At Madurai, I figure out that taking a train to Kodaikanal Rd would involve more traveling, so with the advise from the rickshaw driver, I took a bus from Madurai to Kodaikanal which took about 4 hours and once at Kodai, I was blessed with the cool breeze, the serenading view of the mountain, the blissful aroma of eucalyptus leaves.

I set out with a vision to record the sounds of nature and woke up at 5 am to ensure there are no other interferences with the sounds recording. Recording at the Lake, the waterfall also seems like something that would sound great.
